Today,on a beautifully presented course, the 2014 East Division Inter County Matches commenced. The morning foursomes kicked off at 10 am with Midlothian v's Fife followed by East Lothian v's Stirling & Clackmannan. There was a stiff breeze but the sun was shining and all were raring to go. Apart from a shower which lasted no more than 4 holes the weather was relatively kind. The afternoon singles matches commenced at 3.06 pm with fairly benign conditions which lasted throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

There was some fantastic golf played which thrilled any who came to support.
Thanks to all our volunteers on the day from caddies to parking attendants and to fellow committee members for giving up their time since without such people the tournament would not be run so efficiently.
