Scottish U18 Girls' Championship

Congratulations to Joanne Free for her 3rd place in the championship held at Baberton Golf Club this week.  Joanne was in 4th place after qualifying rounds. The rain washed out the first days match play on Wednesday and for the first time the championship had to be decided by a single stroke play round on Thursday. 
Hazel MacGarvie (Troon Ladies) won the championship after beating  Jillian Farrell (Cardross) with an eagle 2 at the first play-off hole after they had tied on three-under-par 71. Joanne was one stroke behind on 72.
