Musselburgh Golf Club - Ladies Open Cancelled

I have been asked by the Lady Captain of Musselburgh Golf Club to make all our members aware that the Musselburgh Ladies Open due to take place on Tuesday 10th July 2012 has been cancelled due to the course being flooded.

Please note that the Ladies Open has been rescheduled for Tuesday 31st July 2012.  Existing times will apply on this date, and if you can no longer make your time please contact Janette Buchanan on 0131 665 2997. 

Anyone interested in playing should also contact Janette as there are still times available.

Commonwealth Spoons - Result

The Commonwealth Spoons took place today at Craigielaw - the sun shone eventually, and all in all it was a very pleasant day for golf.   Craigielaw yet again proved a challenge!

Well done to Castlepark pairing Fiona Hopkinson and Wendy Fenwick who won today with a 73.5 on the better inward half from past County Captains Carole Macleod (Gullane Ladies) and Carol Ross (North Berwick).  Well done ladies!

Lesley and Irene are Champions

Lesley Nicholson was crowned East Lothian Ladies County Champion on Tuesday 8th May at her home club of Haddington after a convincing 6&5 victory over County Captain, Mary Lou Renton.

Irene Gray won the Handicap Quaich after a 2 hole victory over last years winner, Jean McNeill.

Congratulations to you both.
