Scottish Vets' Blairgowrie Jamboree Prizewinners

The Patrick Rose Bowl was held at the Rosemount Course on Monday 19th September and was won by Heather Anderson (Midland) with a 76-4=72.

Our Alice Archbold took 3rd place with a 85-10=75.  Well done

Spring Meeting - Raffle

The winner of the round of golf for 4, and accommodation was Jane Herd - Congratulations!

I am delighted to report that the raffle raised £450 for county funds.

Thank you to all who supported the raffle.

Clara Young - Top Five Finish

Congratulations to Clara Young on achieving fifth position in the recent Under 16's Open Amateur Stroke Play at Strathmore.  Clara finished on 148 with rounds of 75 and 73.  A fantastic three under par back nine on Friday afternoon sealed fifth place for Clara.

Bronte Law won (after a play off) the tournament with Chloe Williams runner up.

Well done Clara.

Amalgamation Update

The final proposal has now been produced for consideration, and I urge all members to look at these proposals.

As mentioned at the lunch we will be holding an EGM very shortly to allow you the members, to tell us how you wish the County to use their vote at the forthcoming SLGA EGM on 25th May 2011.
