Lesley Atkins and Clara Young will be heading off to Sweden very early on Saturday to participate in the European Girls Team Championships at Linkopings Golf Club as part of the 6 girl Scottish Team.
The full team comprises - Lesley Atkins (Gullane Ladies), Connie Jaffrey (Ladies GC Troon), Fiona Liddell (Schloss Vornholz), Heather Munro (Monifieth), Lauren Whyte (St Regulus) and Clara Young (North Berwick).
The Tournament dates are 9 to 13 July following 2 practice rounds the format is 2 rounds singles stroke play on days 1 and 2 with the lowest five scores from each team’s six players will count each day. The aggregate of the five lowest stroke play scores from play on Days 1 and 2 will constitute each team’s score for determining the match play stage seeded draw.
