The above competition took place on Sunday 1 September at Kirriemuir Golf Club.
Overall winners of the matchplay were Kilmarnock Barrassie, our congratulations go to them.
3 County members were participating in the strokeplay, Mary Lou Watkins and Hazel Saunders (Gullane Ladies) and Dawn Young (North Berwick) who partnered Dawn Darling (Kirriemuir).
Mary Lou and Hazel won 2nd Scratch with 81 and also won the trophy due to the 1st scratch winners not being from the same Club.
Dawn and Dawn won 1st Handicap with 85 less 11.5 nett 73.5
It would be great to see this tournament with more support next year. Any ladies can play either with a fellow club member or a friend from another club. You dont have to be a County member and all levels of handicap are welcome. Its a fun day so watch out for the published venue on the SLGA fixtures list for 2014.
