Babe Zaharias Trophy
ELLCGA have agreed to facilitate the running of this competition. The Trophy has in recent years been awarded as part of a Charity team competition at Whitekirk. It has been agreed that the competition will again be an individual stroke play competition and it is hoped that it will be restored as a major event in the golfing diary while also raising funds for the McMillan Fund.
The event will be held at Gullane No1 on Monday 22nd August 2016. Look out for further details and entry forms.
Note – the competition will be held at Gullane again in 2017 which will be the 70th Anniversary of Babe Zaharias winning the British Ladies Championship at Gullane. Thereafter it will move on to other clubs in East Lothian on a rota.
