ELLCGA MATCH V BORDERS AT NORTH BERWICK GOLF CLUB SUNDAY 20th MARCH
Today ELLCGA Squad played their annual friendly match against the Borders County Team at North Berwick Golf Club. The weather was amazing with a slightly cool wind but blue sky and sunshine. The Borders had only managed a team of 8 this year and as the handicaps were slightly different we decided to play a greensome on handicap.
All four matches had great fun and the Border Ladies loved playing on the North Berwick Links in such good weather and beautiful views. We had lovely soup, sandwiches and wraps afterwards in the clubhouse. Our grateful thanks to North Berwick Golf Club Council for giving us courtesy of the course which was in great condition for the start of the season. We were also very well looked after by the catering staff and the soup was delicious.
