We had a miserable grey start although no wind. The day improved to glorious sunshine in the afternoon but a windy end for the evening players. There was a great turnout with 125 enthusiastic participants with a great support for the tournament from all over Scotland and further afield. The standard of play was high and the ladies taking part thoroughlyf enjoyed themselves. Grateful thanks to the Babe Zaharias committee of Liz McLelland, Gwen Stewart, Nicky Black, Barbara Gibb, Elaine Dick, Jan Gray. ELLCGA are also very grateful to Gullane Golf Club for giving courtesy of the course today, the Starters for their hard work and to Stewart Duff and his Green Committee for presenting the course in such good condition. Thanks also to Linda and all the Bar and Catering staff who looked after so many people so well.
