100 CLUB
Terms and Conditions
1. The 100 CLUB will be limited to 100 participants. Entry and membership number will be based on order of receipt of the entry form. In the event of over subscription names will be placed on a reserve list and will be invited to join if any participant drops out for any reason in the course of the year.
2. The application form must be returned to the promoter and be accompanied by a cheque for the full entry stake of £60 or a cheque for £5 in settlement of the first instalment and a completed standing order form for payment of the remaining 11 monthly instalments of £5 or such lesser number of instalment as shall be remaining in the event of the participant joining during the year.
3. Subject to a minimum of 75 participants subscribing by the 21st May 2015 the 1st monthly draw will be held at the Commonwealth Spoons at Kilspindie on 28th May 2015 and the last draw will be made at the Spring Meeting in April 2016.
4. In the event of the 100 CLUB failing to attract 100 members by 21st June 2015 the promoter will be entitled to reduce the prizes for future draws pro rata according to the number of participants.
5. Where a participant has opted to pay by standing order but the payment is not received into the 100 CLUB bank account on the due date for whatever reason the promoter may remove the participant’s membership number from that month’s draw.
6. A draw will be made monthly. The draw where possible will be made on the day of the four County Meetings, the AGM and Pre-Season Lunch. The remaining 6 draws will be made on the 28th of the month by a draw committee comprising a minimum of three members of the ELLCGA committee one of whom will an office bearer. The result of the draws will be reported on the ELLCGA website and cheques will be forward to the prize winners.
7. There will be four prizes each month. The 1st prize will be £150, 2nd prize £50, 3rd prizes 2 x £25 subject to condition 4 above.
8. Each participant shall receive a certificate of membership showing their membership number within 14 days of their entry being accepted.
9. In the event of any participant failing to make any monthly payment due for 2 consecutive months the participant will not only be omitted from each of the monthly draws but shall have her name removed from the list of participants and the number will be re-allocated to a new participant.
10. Participants must be member of East Lothian Ladies County Golf Association and be aged 18 or over.
11. Participants may hold more than one membership but will be limited to two memberhips on the initial application. Additional applications will be accepted after 21st June 2015.
12. In the event of the 100 CLUB being continued for a second year the promoter will notify all participants of the intention to continue the 100 CLUB by 28th March 2016 and existing participants will be given the option to renew their membership. The membership numbers of any participant not wishing to renew will then be allocated to applicants on the waiting list.
13. In the event of any dispute a decision will be made by the majority decision of a panel comprising the Captain, Hon Treasurer and Secretary except in the case where she has a conflict of interest in which case the President will take her place. The decision of the panel will be final and that by participating in the 100 CLUB participants will be deemed to have accepted these conditions.
